Derm-Tyte Skin Firming

Targets deeper layers of tissue with 755nm NIR to tighten and regenerate collagen and elastin

Treatment Details

Derm-Tyte is a non-invasive skin-firming treatment that uses 755 nm near-infrared light to deliver controlled heat approximately 3.5–4 mm into the deep dermis—where collagen, elastin and fibroblast activity are concentrated. This controlled thermal stimulation activates the skin’s natural renewal response, encouraging elastin reorganisation and the production of new collagen. Collagen renewal develops gradually. Visible improvements typically begin around six weeks after treatment, while collagen formation and maturation may continue for up to three months after each session. Clinical data associated with the technology has reported up to a 40% increase in fibroblast activity, with elasticity improving by 16% at Day 21 and 25% by Day 150. Derm-Tyte is particularly suited to mature or ageing skin experiencing visible laxity, reduced firmness or softening through the jawline. The result is progressively firmer, smoother and more supported-looking skin—without surgery or significant downtime. **Recommended treatment protocol** An initial series of four to six treatments, spaced at least four weeks apart, is recommended for optimal results. Maintenance treatments may then be performed every three to six months to help preserve skin firmness and support ongoing collagen renewal.
