Treatment Details
IPL acne treatments use carefully selected wavelengths of light create a photo-chemical reaction which targets acne-causing bacteria within the skin while helping to calm inflammation, redness and excess oil production. The treatment can reduce active breakouts, support faster healing and improve the appearance of lingering post-acne redness, leading to clearer, calmer and more balanced-looking skin. A course of 6 treatments is standard, although the number of treatments may vary depending on the severity and the cause of the acne. Initially treatments are scheduled at 3 day intervals to consistently eradicate the P. Acne bacteria. No downtime is required, and the Derm-Tyte treatment or LED may be combined in the same session.
